Hospice care

Sue Ryder St John’s Hospice

A large donation has helped Sue Ryder St John’s Hospice in Moggerhanger to keep running and continue to provide its expert care during the challenges posed during the past two years due to Covid-19.

The hospice cares for people with life-limiting conditions across Bedfordshire, as well as supporting their families.

“We thank the Trustees of The Connolly Foundation for your long-standing and generous support. This will enable us to provide older people who have an end-of-life diagnosis with expert and compassionate community care and allow patients to choose to spend their last moments in the familiar surroundings of their own home. Last year, Sue Ryder’s community nurses and healthcare teams provided crucial support for nearly 3,000 people.”

Keech Hospice Care

A donation of £225,000 by the Connolly Foundation has helped Keech Hospice Care improve and develop its car parking facilities.

“The level of support provided by the Connolly Foundation has been truly amazing. We knew parking at the hospice really mattered to patients and families.”
